Nye DSS heavy-duty Dust Suppression Systems for demolition and underground mining applications where high performance dust control is required.
DSS nozzle systems mount onto the stick and boom of the machine with heavy duty welded pedestals. The nozzles can be adjusted in azimuth and elevation providing flexibility in water delivery direction, volume and spray pattern.
Typical 2 and 4 zone systems have nozzles mounted on the arm and boom point. Standard 1” systems are adequate for most applications, high flow 1 1/2” systems are available as required.
Corrosion proof fire fighting nozzles provide control of spray pattern ranging from heavy stream to fog.
All Nye DSS systems are designed with 12 or 24 VDC heavy duty, solid brass solenoid valves and may be connected to municipal hydrants or pumps with standard connections.

TDX Telescopic Deep Digger
The Nye TDX is the ultimate high performance solution for deep excavation. Pins-on as a second member in place of a standard arm. The mounting bracket is replaceable for use with different machines of the same class. Built with premium quality QT100 structural plate throughout. Nye PT1 Progressive Link (pro-link) weld-on thumbs feature a unique single unit design, manufactured for quick and easy installation.
Heavy-duty biomimetic teeth, with serrations for extra grip, are welded solid to the base edge. The teeth mesh perfectly with your bucket because all Nye thumbs are custom built to suit your existing bucket and tooth arrangement.
The fully independent thumb linkage group is engineered to achieve 160° rotation. A simplified one-piece baseplate design means installation does not require disassembling or altering the factory pins or linkages.
Nye PT1 series pro-link thumbs are strong and versatile, built with quenched and tempered alloy steel to provide years of dependable service in the most demanding forestry and demolition applications.

Side Slinger Bucket
Nye Slinger Buckets are engineered to provide controlled side discharge on either side of the machine.
Dual reversible direct drive hydraulic motors are side mounted for easy accessibility and maintenance.
Both motors are fully adjustable to provide easy tensioning of the conveyor belt and hydraulic motors.
Nye exclusive dual direct drive hydraulic motors eliminate jamming, slipping and cogging.
SSB buckets spread materials left or right, and with an optional ejection chute cover, the operator can effectively control the drop of light materials in tight spaces.
Side sling buckets feature a replaceable heavy-duty conveyor belt with fully adjustable edge guides for consistent flow with a variety of materials.
Side Dump Bucket
Nye SDB Side Dump Bucket double as a conventional or lateral dumping bucket and is designed to outperform in hard to maneuver work sites. The main boxed frame is built to last with QT100 quenched and tempered steel plate and AR500 in critical wear areas. Heavy torque plates and heavy walled bushings tie the pivot together and prevent twisting and racking of the structure. Oversize pivot pins and bushings ensure durability and long life.
The single high-pressure cylinder with casing guard allows for optimum bucket positioning and controlled dumping under all working conditions.
Direct pin-on or Quick Coupler versions are available to suit virtually any machine.
Bucket base edge can be equipped with weld-on repointer, bolt-on segments or teeth.
Over-the-bucket forks are also available.
GP Buckets
General Purpose – buckets are designed for normal digging conditions including light shale and rock. These buckets are heavier than most OEM buckets and are considered heavy-duty by most in the industry.
UHD Buckets
Ultra Heavy-Duty – These are the heaviest rock and demolition buckets we make. Originally designed in the 80’s for the most demanding shot-rock applications in Newfoundland and Northern Ontario. When you need extreme strength and wear resistance, specify Nye UHD.
Tilt Units
Nye tilt units have evolved alongside our tilt buckets. Our latest designs now feature 90 degrees of total rotation and the same heavy-duty double acting cylinders and hardened alloy pivot group as found in our long lasting tilt buckets.
Tilt Buckets
Nye Tilting Ditch Buckets have been continually improving over the last four decades. Our latest designs now feature a super strong one-piece QT100 front beam and twin double-acting hydraulic cylinders mounted low on the back where they belong, not on top or inside a compartment. Most models feature bolt-on edges and an onboard hydraulic control valve that provides load holding / relieving, speed control, and hose management functions.
