Designed to separate aluminum from ferrous metals in auto engine blocks and transmissions. A heavy duty crushing tool with continuous rotation and AR500 pulverizing teeth. The hydraulic rotator allows the operator to position the jaws over the block. Engine blocks, exhaust manifolds and crankshafts snap easily. In only a few seconds, the entire engine is reduced to a pile of “Corn Flakes” that can be swept over with a magnet to pull the ferrous out, leaving a clean pile of aluminum chips.

Demolition Grapples
Nye DGX premium quality demolition grapples are built for the most severe high-speed demolition, rock, and waste handling applications. DGX grapples feature a fully-boxed structural design. The continuous QT100 stringers extend all the way from the tips to the bridge forming super strong quenched and tempered box-sections, arranged both vertically, for bending, and horizontally, for torsional loads.
DGX grapple tines are exposed through the back skin to provide extreme wear and impact resistance. Extra thick AR400 wear plates in strategic locations give long life and are easy to replace when needed.
Nye fast acting DGX grapples are simple to install, no hydraulics are required. Pin-on, Quick Coupler and Pin-Grabber versions mount in place of the bucket, a three position bracket with a rigid brace welds to the underside of the excavator arm.

Demo Viper
This tool increases reach for light to medium demolition jobs. Excellent for stripping brick veneer, pulling-off siding and pushing-over block walls and structures. The Viper has a lightweight QT100 box section with AR400 fangs and a top mounted deflector plate to help control sliding debris.
The claws on our “Viper” demolition tool are modeled after a cat’s claw – one of the most effective profiles in nature for grasping and tearing surfaces. With the introduction of biomimetic claws, the Viper out-performs previous designs allowing the separation of brick veneer and insulation from wall structures without premature wear and blunting. AXE Stump Harvesters
The Nye AXE Stump Harvester is a less expensive alternative to our premium SHX Harvester for use where equipment cost is a deciding factor. The AXE shares many structural features of the SHX including the heavy duty bridge and hinge group, but the teeth and knife are simplified to reduce cost.
The AR400 teeth and piercing tip are welded-in, so they can’t fall out and damage grinders and other downstream equipment. Simple maintenance, by welding and hard-facing, keeps the points sharp and ready for action. The AXE Harvester has no regular consumable parts to buy.
Advanced blade geometry – The AXE Harvester has a single, welded-in AR500 blade with the same CNC sculpted, full-convex edge as used on our premium SHX compound-blade Harvesters. You get the same heavy duty blade edge technology in a less expensive and easy to maintain Harvester.
A single AR400 anvil provides a solid striking surface for the blade, making quick work, cross-cutting brush, logs and roots.
Nye AXE Harvesters are offered in 3 basic mounting configurations: Direct Pin-On, Dedicated Quick Coupler, and Pin-Grabber compatible. The operator can adjust the angle of the blade using the three position support bracket or an optional hydraulic cylinder.
