CPH Pulverizers

Nye CPH High Rupture Force Pulverizer.

The CPH is the latest in high-production concrete processing from the engineers at Nye. These revolutionary new, opposing-tooth pulverizers are designed for maximum performance in high-strength, steel-reinforced concrete.

The unique tooth arrangement on the Patented CPH and ultra-high force (short jaw) CPH pulverizers work with direct tip-to-tip occlusion. This concentrates the rupture stress in one plane, directly between opposing teeth, maximizing cracking performance in all steel-reinforced concrete types.

Conventional pulverizer teeth typically bypass one-another, producing multiple shear planes. This results in lower rupture stresses applied to the material, and less than ideal cracking power. Conventional pulverizers also apply a “kinking action”, which tends to bunch and condense rebar into balls, producing a so-called “apocalyptic mess” of steel. CPX and CPH pulverizers tend to crack the concrete away, leaving the re-bar straighter, which can help with subsequent processing to produce marketable scrap.

CPX and CPH pulverizer front teeth protrude past the nose plates which facilitates fine picking and sorting of rebar and demolition debris on-site.

For the ultimate in high production concrete processing, nothing beats the performance of Nye CPX and CPH mechanical pulverizers.

EXG Mantis Buckets

Jack Nye invented the hydraulic grapple bucket over 30 years ago. Our latest EXG series “Mantis” buckets feature twin hydraulic cylinders with a single thumb and tines that mesh with the bucket teeth. A strong bumper pad engages the stick providing maximum range of motion with minimal interference for digging.
The open cylinder design eliminates binding with stones and frozen mud. Servicing is simple. There are no linkages or complex “cuckoo-clock” rotary actuators, no sliding rotary seals or internal splines, no gears to grind and smash. In the open position, the cylinders extend in hydraulic relief as the tine pad contacts the excavator arm during bucket curl.
An optional hydraulic control valve provides load-holding, & relieving, speed control, and hose management functions. The valve protects the cylinders, so damage due to overload and drift due to leakage is eliminated.
The profiled tines provide a secure grip with tapered and fully boxed QT100 steel for maximum strength and durability.
Serrations in the tines provide the right balance of grip without damaging plastic culverts and materials used in road building.
The bucket profile is not altered by a bulky actuator mechanism, you get the best digging bucket with a fully tapered body, dual basket radii, and proper wear plates just like a regular bucket.

MAX Grapples

Nye MAX grapples are designed for high capacity MSW (municipal solid waste) handling and for the most severe duty brush clearing applications.
Custom solid tine configurations available to provide high performance material handling in any environment.
Weld-on replaceable AR400 tine tips ensure high reliability and longer attachment life. The welded tips cannot fall off and damage down-stream processing equipment.
Engineered for maximum capacity, MAX grapples offer superior high speed bailing of large bulk loads. All quenched and tempered construction keeps weight down improving swing times and fuel efficiency.
Easy to install, safe and silent to operate MAX grapples are available in pin-on, quick coupler or pin-grabber compatible versions.

Rotating Log Grapples

Nye RHG rotating hydraulic log grapples are designed for production log loading under severe working conditions. The RHG series feature a super tough body structure with over-size pins & bushings that can take extreme pounding and prying. The wide tine openings allow easy, high-speed loading and placing of heavy logs.
Heavy-wall tubes tie the jaws together to prevent twisting and racking of the structure. Guarded high-pressure hydraulic cylinders provide ample clamping force under all working conditions. Full hydraulic tine-synchronization means no troublesome linkages or bell-cranks, the virtually indestructible divider/combiner valve keeps both tines in sync at all times.
Our heavy-duty rotators feature 3600 continuous rotation with oversized bearings and drive motors.
All RHG grapples are custom built to suit your excavator.
Direct pin-on or Quick Coupler versions are available to suit virtually any heavy-duty logging application.

Thumbs – progressive-link

Nye PT1 Progressive Link (pro-link) weld-on thumbs feature a unique single unit design, manufactured for quick and easy installation.
Heavy-duty biomimetic teeth, with serrations for extra grip, are welded solid to the base edge. The teeth mesh perfectly with your bucket because all Nye thumbs are custom built to suit your existing bucket and tooth arrangement.
The fully independent thumb linkage group is engineered to achieve 160° rotation. A simplified one-piece baseplate design means installation does not require disassembling or altering the factory pins or linkages.
Nye PT1 series pro-link thumbs are strong and versatile, built with quenched and tempered alloy steel to provide years of dependable service in the most demanding forestry and demolition applications.
Every Nye thumb is built to order so you get exactly the equipment you need – custom configurations are available to suit any application.

Skeleton Bucket

Nye Skeleton Buckets are engineered using abrasion resistant and high strength materials to withstand the most severe service.
Design types are available with perforated baskets or interlocked ribs and cross bars that meet the most demanding custom material separation applications.
Both designs do not contain any moving parts and exceed OEM specs.
Tapered vertically and horizontally along with a dual compounded radii profile, SRE buckets allow for easy filling and dumping effectively reducing bottom wear.

Skeleton Buckets are available in various sizes, widths, and custom rib spacing configurations along with customers’ choice of ground engaging tools.

Garbage Shear

Nye GSX Garbage shears are designed to cut Municipal Solid Waste into fine pieces for hi-density packing into trucks, saving transport costs and space in landfills over time. The GSX series features jaws with biomimetic teeth that bypass in shear, providing the right solution for mass waste handling and processing in limited spaces. The main frame is built to last with QT100 quenched and tempered steel plate and AR500 in critical wear areas. Heavy wall torque tubes tie the jaws together and prevent twisting and racking of the structure. Oversize pivot pins and bushings ensure durability and long life. The optional high-pressure brace cylinder with rod guard allows optimum jaw positioning under all working conditions. Direct pin-on or Quick Coupler versions are available to suit virtually any heavy duty MSW application.

Excavator Forks

Nye EXF Excavator Forks feature a simple and cost effective design that quickly enables an excavator to lift palletised materials. The solid fabricated box section forms a super strong structure that sits flat on the ground when unattached. The honey comb perforated plate lightens the fork assembly and allows for extra visibility of the load.
The EXF series are specially useful for budget limited contractors to quickly repurpose one machine on site.
Extra thick, heavy duty flat forks ensure years of reliability and dependability.
Contoured and machined fork tips ensure easier slide for lifting and placement on uneven surfaces.
Pin-on, Quick Coupler, and Pin-Grabber versions are available.
